Heather Kasvinsky (b. 1977) received a BFA from Syracuse University and an MFA in Printmaking from Arizona State University. Specializing in etching, drypoint, screenprinting, lithography, book arts, letterpress and hand papermaking, she taught fine arts courses at the college level for fifteen years before deciding to take a break from academia and focus creative energy on her proudest achievement: her children.

In 2013 Heather moved with her family from Alaska to the Mad River Valley in VT where she is currently a studio artist and a food and travel blogger at This Noshtalgic Life. Her family lives on a little homestead with lots of rowdy chickens, two fluffy cats, and a loyal Alaskan husky.
